Our Director of Program Management must manage multidisciplinary programs across large corporations that inform key business decisions. The Director must understand and articulate how design is incorporated into these business decisions and how it improves both the user experience and the production process, raising revenue and stimulating growth.

The frog Director of Program Management provides overall account leadership, developing executive level relationships that positions frog as a design expert and strategic advisor. The Engagement Director serves as the leader of the core frog team that partner with our client for long term mutually beneficial results.

As a member of the Program Management discipline at frog, this person is a broadly experienced, business-savvy individual who is well-versed in managing a team while providing outstanding client support relative to the projects in progress. S/he is focused on project delivery, assuring overall quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must be able to identify a client’s business and communication needs and readily coordinate with the delivery teams to adapt project plans to meet those needs.

Essential Functional duties (most important parts of job):

• Take the lead to develop broad solutions and approaches and is accepted by the client as a trusted business advisor
• Work with Creative/Strategy Leads and Major Account Directors to develop account strategy
• Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback
• Consistently identify needs client may not recognize and ensure that approaches and solutions are linked to client objectives and future needs
• Expand contacts with key client executives at highest level possible, maintaining strong post-engagement relationships, and introduce appropriate frog resources
• Clearly articulate complex concepts and ideas to clients and team members
• Communicate engagement status and strategic recommendations to clients and team members
• Develop well-written documents and presentations
• Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across the account

Qualifications:

• 10 years related experience
• MBA Preferred
• Previous experience in a client service organization, preferably with top tier consulting firm or major design studio.
• Strong experience and knowledge of design and design process
• Proven experience developing and managing long term, multiple project client relationships
• Deep understanding of project management, work flow and infrastructure
• Proven ability to manage project scope, set and manage to client expectations
• Ability to interact with client at all levels, from project administrators to CEOs
• Deep understanding of account management
• Proven track record of satisfied large scale clients
• Ability to focus on long term business and design goals of clients
• Knowledge of contracts and commitment to contract compliance
• Strong experience with budget tracking and analysis; and strong Business Software skills
• Ability to manage and mentor
• Fluent in Mandarin (both written/spoken) and solid English communication skills a must.
